PLEASE NOTE UPDATED FILM START TIME OF 7:30PM
Due to the recent construction on Flynn Avenue, the film start time has been pushed back to allow attendees more time and ease of access to Media Factory’s East Lot.
Individuals, families, and teams across Vermont have spent the summer creating droids, donning Jedi robes, and practicing lightsaber skills, all towards the goal of recreating one of the most iconic science fiction films of all time - Star Wars: A New Hope. Over 45 teams created a randomly-assigned scene using any and all materials: live action, green screen, animation, illustration, and more. Teams of musicians created compositions to pair with each scene, and the entire production was edited at the Media Factory community media center and production studio in the South End. Altogether, over 160 people contributed to the film, making a new story combining the vision of George Lucas and the creativity of Vermonters.
Attendees bring their own chairs, and drinks and light snacks are available for purchase from BBCO.
Tickets are free with a suggested donation of $10.00, and can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/BTVStarWars
