About our Founder Joe.
Joe Lemnah is the founder and owner of Burlington Beer Company and was born in Burlington, Vermont in 1982 and grew up in Essex Junction, Vermont graduating from Essex High School in 2000.
Between 2006 and 2012, Joe was a brewer at Olde Saratoga Brewing Co., Dogfish Head Craft Brewing Co., and Evolution Craft Brewing Co. working his way up from the packaging line at Olde Saratoga to Assistant Brewmaster at Evolution Brewing Co. During this time Joe brewed more than 200 batches of homebrew and many of the recipes brewed at BBCO today started from these early batches of beer. Joe started Burlington Beer Co. with more than 10,000 hours of professional brewing experience.
